Can this be Marriage?

Is this marriage?

 Marriage is not a word.
It's a sentence (a life sentence).

Marriage is an institution in which a man loses his Bachelor's Degree and the woman gets her masters.

Getting married is very much like going to a restaurant with friends. You order what you want, and when you see what the other person has, you wish you had ordered that instead.

Son: How much does it cost to get married, Dad? Father: I don't know son, I'm still paying for it.

Son: Is it true Dad? I heard that in ancient China, a man doesn't know his wife until he marries her. Father: That happens everywhere, son, EVERYWHERE!

Love is one long sweet dream, and marriage is the alarm clock.

After marriage, husband and wife become two sides of a coin. They just can't face each other, but they still stay together.

Before marriage, a man yearns for the woman he loves. After the marriage the "Y" becomes silent.

A man inserted an ad in the paper - WIFE WANTED. The next day he received a hundred of letters and they all said the same thing - YOU CAN HAVE MINE.

When a man opens the door of his car for his wife, you can be sure of one thing - either the car is new or the wife is.

Stress Management: Tips

1.      Recognize the Problem.
Be aware of the early signs and symptoms of stress. If stress is recognized earlier, preventive steps can be instituted.
This will help you in planning the stress management program well in advance, before the problem digs deeper and establishes itself.

2.      Reduce exposure to Stressors
Over worked? Over commitments? Take steps to reduce overload in your day to day life. When there is continued stress, it affects the performance adversely. When your capacity to work reduces, the stress increases proportionally.
Learn to adjust properly
The four important areas of life are:
Family, Work, Leisure and Friends.
To keep your stress at a minimum, you have to judiciously allot time for each.. If you have to work more, see to it that other areas are also given due consideration. Except for unavoidable work, do not encroach on the other areas on a regular basis.
The whole thing boils down to this: Giving more time and care for one aspect must not be at the expense of the other. This is essential to keep things under control and avoid undue stress in life.
  1. Organize life a little more efficiently
Practice time management. Make to do lists. Keep stress diary. Budget your spendings.

  1. Learn to relax body
Learn the basics of relaxing. Progressive muscular relaxation is a very good way to relax. Whenever you are under stress, try relaxing group of muscles.

  1. Learn to relax mind
Relaxing mind is an easy exercise that can be practised by anyone. It is indeed a bye-product of muscle relaxation.

  1. Exercise, eat and sleep properly
Regular exercise keeps body and mind fit. It also releases positive hormones which soothens the mind and the body.
Eating a nutritious, well balanced food also keeps the bodily functions in the positive mode.
Sleep at least 7-8 hours daily. This provides the much needed rest and recharges both mind and the body. Fresh mind will flush out stress.

  1. Make time for fun
Most people fail to realize that regular leisure is necessary to recharge our lives. Make time for fun on a daily basis.

  1. Express & share  your feelings.
"Share Your Grief, it is Halved; Share Your Joy, it is Doubled"
goes the saying.
How true!
But while sharing your stress see to it, that the person with whom you are sharing is capable of giving you support.

  1. Learn to tackle life change events
Always anticipate planned life change events and adjust accordingly.
